01 / BUILT AROUND THE JOINT

THE CONNECTION
MAKES THE
DIFFERENCE.

A welded assembly is more than a set of joined parts. Material, joint preparation, fit-up and the finished geometry all need to work together.

Bring us your drawings or project brief. We review how the components fit, what the assembly needs to do and the requirements that matter to your project before confirming the fabrication scope.

CUSTOM METAL
ASSEMBLIES

Project-specific parts brought together through cutting, bending, welding and assembly, with the scope agreed before production.

Material suitability, welding process, tolerances, inspection and any certification requirements are reviewed and confirmed for each quotation.

03 / DETAILS THAT MATTER

DEFINE THE JOINT.
PLAN THE FINISH.

A clear brief helps us assess the work and prepare a useful quotation. Include the details below where available.

  • Material & dimensions

Material type and grade, section sizes, plate thicknesses and overall assembly dimensions.

  • Joint & fit-up requirements

Weld symbols, joint locations, mating parts and critical dimensions or tolerances.

  • Finish & downstream work

Visible weld requirements, grinding, coating plans and any machining or assembly after welding.

  • Inspection & documentation

Applicable project specifications, acceptance criteria and any testing or documentation required.

05 / BEFORE YOU ENQUIRE

A FEW USEFUL
ANSWERS.

What should I send for a welding quotation?

Send a drawing, CAD file or dimensioned sketch, plus material, quantity, finish and delivery details. Highlight weld specifications and any critical dimensions.

Can I enquire without a finished drawing?

Yes. Start with a sketch, photos, dimensions or a description of the application. We can review your brief and identify the further information needed to assess the work.

Which materials and welding processes can be used?

The appropriate material and process depend on the joint, thickness and application. Include your material grade and any specified process so suitability can be confirmed with your quotation.

Can cutting and bending be included?

Include the complete assembly in your enquiry. Cutting, bending and welding requirements can be reviewed together as part of the fabrication scope.

What about standards, testing and lead times?

Please provide the applicable project standards, inspection requirements and target date at enquiry stage. Capability, documentation, pricing and lead time need to be confirmed for your specific scope.
