01 / BUILT AROUND THE CONNECTION

FROM A HOLE
TO A WORKING
ASSEMBLY.

Hole positions, fastener details and mating surfaces all influence how a component fits into the finished assembly. We review these features alongside your material, dimensions and fabrication requirements.

Whether you need a standalone part or machining as part of a wider fabrication package, share the complete drawing so the cutting, forming, welding and machining stages can be considered together.

02 / WHAT WE DO

FEATURES THAT
SERVE A PURPOSE.

Tell us how the part needs to locate, fasten or interface. The suitable process is reviewed against your drawing.

01 / HOLE PROCESSING

DRILLING &
HOLE PATTERNS

Specify the holes that locate components and connect the assembly, including their relationship to edges and reference points.

  • Bolt holes and fixing patterns
  • Mounting plates and connection brackets
  • Hole size, spacing and position requirements
02 / COMPONENT DETAILS

MACHINED
FEATURES

Bring the features that affect fit and function into the brief, so the machining approach can be assessed before production.

  • Faces, slots and mating details for review
  • Thread and fastener requirements
  • Critical dimensions and surface finish notes
03 / FIT & INTEGRATION

FABRICATION
COORDINATION

Consider machining within the full fabrication sequence, with attention to the features that matter at assembly.

  • Interfaces with folded or welded components
  • Drawing reference points and mating parts
  • Inspection and documentation requirements

Process availability, material suitability, achievable tolerances, part size and inspection scope are confirmed during quotation.

03 / WHAT TO INCLUDE

THE RIGHT
DETAILS.
A CLEARER
QUOTE.

A dimensioned drawing is the best starting point. If you have a sample or an early concept, send the information available and identify what still needs to be resolved.

01

DRAWING & REVISION

Share your PDF drawing and any available CAD files. Include dimensions, units, revision and reference points.

02

MATERIAL & PART SIZE

Identify the material grade, thickness or stock size, overall dimensions and whether material is supplied.

03

CRITICAL FEATURES

Mark hole diameters, threads, hole depths, positional requirements, mating surfaces and any required tolerances.

04

QUANTITY & FINISH

State the number of parts, repeat-batch requirements, edge treatment and any coating or surface finish.

05

DELIVERY & DOCUMENTATION

Include your Australian delivery location, target date and any inspection records or material documentation needed.

04 / HOW YOUR PROJECT MOVES FORWARD

FROM BRIEF
TO FINISHED PART.

01 /

SEND YOUR
DRAWING

Share the part details, quantity, intended use and delivery requirements.

02 /

REVIEW THE
REQUIREMENTS

Clarify materials, critical features, suitable processes and the quotation scope.

03 /

CONFIRM &
MANUFACTURE

Confirm the quote and drawing revision before work proceeds to the agreed scope.

04 /

CHECK &
COORDINATE

Complete the agreed checks and coordinate packing, assembly or delivery.

05 / PROJECT APPLICATIONS

SMALL DETAILS.
A BIGGER ROLE.

STRUCTURAL
CONNECTIONS

Base plates, splice plates and connection brackets with drawing-defined fixing details.

EQUIPMENT
MOUNTING

Mounting plates, supports and component interfaces that need to align with surrounding equipment.

CUSTOM
ASSEMBLIES

Project-specific components that combine drilling or machining with cutting, bending and welding.

06 / BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR ENQUIRY

A FEW USEFUL
ANSWERS.

What if I do not have a complete drawing?

Send a sketch, photographs of the part, key dimensions or details of a sample. We can review the available information and identify what needs to be confirmed before a quotation or production.

Which materials and tolerances can you work with?

Provide the exact material grade and mark the dimensions that are critical to fit or function. Material suitability and achievable tolerances depend on the part and process, and are confirmed during quotation.

Can machining be combined with other fabrication work?

Include the complete assembly requirements in your enquiry. Cutting, bending, welding, machining and assembly can then be reviewed as a coordinated fabrication scope.

Can I request a one-off part or a repeat batch?

Yes — send the quantity you require and indicate whether future batches are expected. Production suitability, pricing and timing are reviewed for each project.

How do I send drawings and confirm a delivery date?

Email your drawings and supporting files, or use our project enquiry form for an initial brief. Include your delivery postcode and target date; the proposed schedule is confirmed with the quotation.
